How and what should be the treatment of CSR Expenditure, incurred by the Company in a reporting year, in Abridged Cost Sheet and Profit Reconciliation.

As per Guidance Note issued by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India vide no. ”Treatment of Costs Relating to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Activitie” any expenditure towards CSR will not be a part of Cost and should be taken in to consideration in Reconciliation Statement in Annexure to Cost Audit Report.
