A CMA Course is a professional Course which are taught by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

Student have to clear 3 levels in order to become a qualified CMA. But first you have to clear the foundation examination, in order to give further examination.

Now a question may arise, who can apply for foundation examination right?

Well, a student who has passed class 10th examination can take admission at foundation course, but they will be eligible to sit in examination only after passing class 12th examination only.

Now there is an option to directly take admission at Intermediate level.

So, who can take direct admission?

Well, following are eligible for taking direct admission:

1) Graduate in any discipline other than fine arts

2) Qualified CAT/ ICSI Foundation/ ICAI Intermediate.

ICMAI conduct 2 terms of examination in a year, that is June term and December term and they announce result of June term by august end and December term results by February end.

As of now ICMAI is conducting examination only on offline modes.

Student have to go to the examination hall and give examination in the traditional way by solving question in pen-paper mode. Before, it was in online mode but for now it has been discontinued till the further notice.

ICMAI will send hard copy of books through courier to the students at their registered address only after successful registration into course or student can download the PDF format of books from ICMAI portal free of cost.

Step 2: At the homepage, you will see many options at the top bar, from there select 'STUDENTS'.

Step 3: From the student corner, select 'COURSE' from the top bar.

Step 4: Now after entering Course page, you will see Old as well as new course, that is Syllabus 2016 & syllabus 2022.

Step 5: Select the required course and download the study material PDF.

Step 3: Now at student corner, select 'EXAMINATION' from the options given on top bar

Step 4: Now you will see many options related to exams and test on the left side of the page, from there select 'QUESTION PAPER' and download the paper term wise.

Step 2: Then select 'STUDENTS' option at the top bar of the homepage.

Step 3: Now at student corner, select 'STUDENTS' CONNECT PORTAL' from the options given on right side of the page.

Step 4: Now at student connect portal page scroll down to E-Academics service and from there select 'MTPs'

A student can start there industrial training right after registration into Intermediate course. It is mandatory to undergo 15-month practical training before appearing for CMA Final examination.

There are a total of 3 chapters in Chhattisgarh:

• Raipur ICMAI Chapter
• Bilaspur ICMAI Chapter
• Bhilai ICMAI Chapter

For securing exemption, a student has to score 60 or more marks in any paper.

ICMAI will send the hardcopy of marksheet, whether you have cleared the examination or not to Final and Intermediate students only.

For foundation student, pdf of marksheet downloaded from ICMAI will be valid and no physical hardcopy will be provided by institute to student.

Student who has appeared for both groups of examination, whether for final or intermediate and has cleared all paper individually as well as secured required aggregate marks, then those students will be sort listed on the basis of highest marks secured by them and they will be allotted rank up to top 50.

Note: there is no such criteria for foundation student and no such rank allotted to them.

Step 3: Now at student corner, select 'EXAMINATION' from the options given on top bar

Step 4: Now you will see many options related to exams and test on the left side of the page, from there select 'SUGGESTED ANSWERS' and download the paper term wise.

Step 1: Visit ICMAI.in in any web browser.

Step 2: Then select 'STUDENTS' option at the top bar of the homepage.

Step 3: Click on ‘CIRCULARS’ on the right side of the students tab.

Step 4: From there you can see and download all the latest circulars publish by ICMAI.

ICMAI Allot examination centres only at 3 districts in Chhattisgarh:

• Raipur
• Bilaspur
• Bhilai

Student who are living further from these districts has to travel to the examination centres allotted to them in order to appear for the examination.

ICMAI Foundation Course Registration fee - Rs. 6000/-

ICMAI Intermediate Course Registration fee – Rs. 23100/-

ICMAI Final Course Registration fee – Rs. 25000/-

Step 2: Then select 'STUDENTS' option at the top bar of the homepage.

Step 3: At student’s page click on ‘TRAINING’ tab from the top bar.

Step 4: Click on ‘PRACTICAL TRAINING’

Step 5: Click on ‘PCMAs Registered for training’ from the left side of the practical training page.

Step 6: From there select the district, where you want to do the practical training and you will find the list and details of all the firm or practicing CMA in your selected area.

Step 2: Then select 'STUDENTS' option at the top bar of the homepage.

Step 3: At student’s page click on ‘TRAINING’ tab from the top bar.

Step 4: Click on ‘PRACTICAL TRAINING’

Step 5: Click on ‘Organisations Registered for training’ from the left side of the practical training page.

Step 6: From there select the district, where you want to do the practical training and you will find the list and details of all the Companies and organisation in your selected area.

Student will be provided by study materials issued by ICMAI to each student who are registered under a specified course or at a particular level. They can refer those material for the preparation of examination. They can also use the suggested answers, MTPs as well as past year paper for better preparation.

• Or they can visit to nearest chapter to register themselves in offline mode.
